If by "them" you're referring to someone you've lost in one sense or another... you're not alone in that. People always leave. Don't be fooled by a half-smile or fake friendlyness. A lie is a lie and people lie... some to hurt you and some to protect you. By leaving, maybe they were trying to protect you from something that would otherwise hurt you.
