I got contact lenses this morning. They're brilliant! Of course i still keep putting my glasses on out of habit when i do stuff, but now i see through them as a normal person would. Wow! Am i that blind?! The only reservation i have is the bit where i actually apply the lenses to the surface of my eyes (it would be soo much easier if i didnt have such rich, luxuriant eyelashes :P) and removing them (you sortof hafto squeeze them a bit). But meh, i'll man up eventually. Today is Thursday, meaning tomorrow is Good Friday, which of course has lots to do with Jesus etc. But it ALSO means i get the afternoon off work - and still get paid!!
