My brain has become a machine to translate Spanish to English and find symbolisim in a pencil. School is so tedious. I'm working so hard, and for what result? Never ending days drag on slowly, and I just write papers and read things I don't understand. So...very...tired...ah, but what does it matter? No matter how much sleep I get I'm always tired. Nothing ever slows down, nothing ever stops. I'm never able to catch up.
It's raining outside, and my roommate's playing in the rain. She's a silly girl. She loves storms. She loves the lightning and the thunder. She thought about being a meterologist for a while, but that got turned down for something else (one of her many changes of major). I think I want to write my senior thesis over either Charlotte Bronte or C.S. Lewis.
Hey! Got your comment on my diary, thanks! To answer your question, Chris is in San Antonio, TX for basic. Yes, ballroom dancing, I absolutely love it. I got started on this whole kick over a year ago when some guys I knew started to teach me some swing. I learned a little bit then, and ever since have wanted to learn more. When I found out my school offers a ballroom dancing class, I just HAD to get in it!
But anyways, it's really awesome, I've discovered this "secret" world of ballroom dancing here. There's swing dancing downtown, ballroom dances 2 times a month, dance lessons one night a week... I do it all. It's so much fun. :0) Oh, and i saw you had a CS Lewis quote in your info. I absolutely LOVE him. He's my favorite author. I want to write books like his one day.
I totally know how you feel...I can't wait for summer (time to relax and read what I want to without teachers cramming it all down my throat). Hang in there!
Hey, thanks, I am pretty pumped, a new city is always fun. I can't even believe I'm typing a coherent sentence... it's 6am. ::sobs:: I hope trains are good for sleeping on! :P
