Word of the Day: wistful
As much as I'm sure JD loves his computer, he does break it a whole lot. And reinstalls some sort of operating system every week. Kind of annoying.
So we bought a crib the other night, and JD put it all together yesterday while I was at work. We sat on the couch after he was done with the drawer and just looked at it. I imagined how it would be all frilly and babied-up, all soft and beautiful. It was great.
Speaking of work, tomorrow will be the ninth day in a row that I've worked without a day off. My feet hurt. We're training a new girl, Amanda, who might do well. Kenneth, the new night auditor, sucks at his job and leaves most of it for the morning crew [namely me] or Velma to do, which I'm getting sort of tired of. I just don't understand why people can't do their jobs, espeically after they've been trained and are able to ask qustions an solve problems on their own. I mean, these people graduated high school. It's just a little frustrating.
I bought a new jacket today at Old Navy. It's tres beautiful.
the bed is very cute. very functional too!
dawww, I can remember one of the first entries of yours I read was about how you were trying to decide whether to buy a certain jacket or not. Then you finally decided on it, and posted a picture for all of us to see how cute it looked on you!
when are you due?
the crib is cute. i cant wait to see it with your babeh inside.

NINE DAYS??? I shudder to think of it. If I worked 9 days in a row I would either burn out or crack up. Or both.
Nice, saw the names of two of your entries "ascension" and "philosophy of man" they beckon to be read.
Ah, you seem to have similar reading tastes as myself, may I

The soul of man under socialism - Oscar Wilde
The Dune series by Frank Herbert.
The Silmarillion - J.R.R Tolkien.
