Ready to pounce

Feeling: discouraged
3.05pm I have so much Latin vocab to learn. It looks like a stupid amount when put onto flashcards, anyway. I don't know if my brain can learn it all within the next three and a half hours. But anyway, I'm going out later so maybe I'll be at Doubt Your Doubts with my faithful Latin flashcards. Only joking, then I really would be more than quite odd. I feel very _____. In fact I feel very nothing. Not that I feel nothing, I feel realtively positive and quite contented, but nothing particularly sticks out as an emotion. Apart from rather annoyed with myself that I should be learning Latin and yet I sit here with it in front of me and still I write in a diary that a handful of people will read because they think they have to. Some more Latin has been done since the last paragraph, but bearing in mind how much time I have left I have hardly done enough to do well in the exam. I feel a little bit like giving up now would be by far the best idea. I suppose I should be thankful that I have decided to start working properly before exams that mean anything come along and slap me in the face. I'm really strangely paranoid about doing badly in my GCSEs and A-Levels. Mum hasn't been exactly inspiring me either.

I wish you good luck for your latin tests and A-levels and other such exams that i, as an american, do not understand!

Updating is for suckers who have time on their hands.

haha, i happen to hate my accent, but would probably love yours.

woah thats so rad.

i wish i had an english accent.

America! Good ol' America. Exams are based on what classes you have. most of our grade comes from in-class assessment, like random homework assignments, several in-class tests, etc. etc. A few classes have a final exam at the end, but the score on the final exam can be anywhere from 30 to 50% of the grade. it usually isn't more than that.

There're a few standardised tests we take to get into college, too. SAT or ACT, but that's it. yup.

You wouldn't read it anyway. :(

i know them all really well, but i just find it soo tedious most of the time. i think i'm gonna give it a break for a while, and then see how it goes. luv ya razzy. xx

You like english accents?
